I loved that Jennifer was easily accessible and always had a new idea if something wasn’t working out for me and the babies! Thank you so much for your help, knowledge, and patience during my complex breastfeeding journey with the twins! I believe I was successful because of you!
I reached out to Jennifer when I began experiencing pain with breastfeeding when I had my first child, I was concerned about the latch and how painful it was. Jennifer helped me to correct the latch which significantly helped with the pain I was experiencing. I was always determined to breastfeed my babies and was willing to take whatever steps needed to do so. When I began experiencing issues, I knew I needed to reach out for help because doing it alone was making me feel more worried and isolated with my first baby and I was so close to giving up. Breastfeeding is an important part of my motherhood as it not only creates a special bond between me and my child, but I’m consciously making the choice and effort to nourish my baby as best as I can with breast milk. I feel like it’s an integral part of a baby’s immunity and development. It’s not always the easy thing to do, but with the correct support and help from family and people like Jennifer, any mom will be able to breastfeed her baby and feel confident in doing so.
While breastfeeding my son I was starting to feel defeated. I struggled with getting him to latch properly. After meeting with Jennifer, she helped me to improve my son’s latch and gave me the confidence to continue breastfeeding. I am proud of myself that I stuck it out and received the support I needed.
I am currently pregnant with my second child and breastfeeding my first child. I was feeling drained when I reached out to Jennifer about breastfeeding during pregnancy which was very new to me. After speaking with Jennifer I felt empowered to continue my journey!
My biggest breastfeeding challenge was pumping, I was feeling desperate and defeated when I reached out to Jennifer for help with pumping. After I spoke with Jennifer I felt proud and strong about my experience and what I was able to provide for my child!
I was having difficulty getting my son to latch correctly, I was feeling stressed out and emotionally drained when I reached out to Jennifer. I could tell my son wasn’t latching correctly and I was concerned that he wasn’t getting enough milk. Jen made me feel at ease and provided the proper information to correct what was happening. I am so thankful for her help, if it wasn’t for Jen, I probably would have quit breast feeding early on in my son’s infancy. After overcoming my breastfeeding struggles, I felt relief, like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders.
My biggest breastfeeding challenge was concerns about milk supply and how to know my baby was getting enough milk. I felt overwhelmed as a new mom, I wasn’t sure if I was doing it right, or if my baby was getting enough milk. After reaching out to Jennifer, I felt relieved and had a much better understanding that my body was producing exactly what my baby needed. I left the hospital and had so many questions I never thought to ask the LCs. I messaged Jen and received a response right away that helped me and put me at ease.
My biggest breastfeeding challenge was how to handle treatment for my son’s tongue tie. I received conflicting information from various providers and didn’t know whether to snip or not! I was feeling conflicted emotionally when I reached out to Jennifer. Jennifer provided a full functional assessment which was lacking in other assessments that had been performed. She provided the validation I needed and I was glad after the consult that I had made the right decision.
My biggest breastfeeding challenge was everything at first but mainly returning to work was a big concern for me. I was anxious and unsure but those feelings subsided significantly with Jen’s help. After overcoming my breastfeeding hurdles I felt amazing!! I’m so thankful for Jen’s support and that I could breastfeed my son and help others by donating my extra milk. I was looking for help and guidance and Jen was there when I needed that. Her support, time, and education was invaluable. Thank you again!
My biggest breastfeeding challenge was that I was going through health issues and I was unsure how certain medications would affect my breast-fed baby. I felt discouraged, sad, like I failed because I thought I was going to have to stop breast feeding. Jen was so helpful and knowledgeable when it came to medications and what was safe while breastfeeding. She answered all my questions and provided helpful information. I felt relief and happiness after speaking with Jennifer. It was my last baby I was thrilled to know I didn’t have to stop my breastfeeding journey and I am so thankful!
I reached out to Jennifer when I had concerns about medications and breastfeeding. Googling answers is overwhelming with everyone having a different opinion. I felt it was best & the safest choice, to reach out to a professional. It honestly was exhausting but so rewarding. I'm grateful to have been able to have breastfed my daughter for 16 months.
